These groundbreaking collaborations will celebrate Britain’s custodians of soil, sea and seed, showcasing their positive solutions to climate change, the biodiversity crisis and social justice. About the Farmers Two growing projects are tending to injustices in the food system. Sandra Salazar D’eca founded Go Grow With Love in Tottenham and Enfield, to support women of African and Caribbean heritage in nurturing a reciprocal relationship with local land. In Haringey, Paulette Henry, Pamela Shor and their team are empowering communities to grow their own. Black Rootz is the UK’s first multigenerational, Black-led growing enterprise, reconnecting Londoners with seed, ancestral knowledge and earth. About the Poet Zena Edwards is a writer, performance poet and musician, creative educator and project developer. As a multidisciplinary collaborator, Zena has worked with The Last Poets, Hugh Masekela, Baaba Maal, choreographer Akram Khan (Xenos), and Visual Artist – Theaster Gates (Soul Manufacturing Company). Hot Poets is an award-winning Arts organisation, working in the highest levels and deepest roots of the climate space to powerfully communicate climate change science and action through spoken word poetry .
