Bans on hosepipe and sprinkler use have been imposed in Kent and Sussex. It follows hosepipe bans for customers in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The ban forbids using a hosepipe connected to a mains water supply and breaking results can result in a fine of up to a £1,000.
